Michael Griffin
Originally from Chicago, but raised in California, Michael Griffin has been designing music experiences for satisfied DMX clients since 1998. During that time he has been credited with creating some of DMX's most enduring music environments. His wealth of knowledge in music runs the gamut from Classic Rock to Jazz to Electronica with a special love for Acid Jazz and Nu-Soul. Michael takes pride in continuing to provide his clients with the highest quality in service and sound. Those clients include Ralph Lauren Polo, Macy’s, Nine West, Easy Spirit, AJ Wright, Bachrach and Theory.
Prior to becoming a welcomed addition to DMX, Michael spent 8 years in the U.S. Navy as a navigator and tug boat captain. After being honorably discharged he enrolled at the Art Institute of Seattle and graduated with honors (Dean’s List) and two degrees in Music and Video Business. While attending the Art Institute, Michael participated in recording sessions with Kenny G. and Alice In Chains. After graduation in 1995 he worked magic for Muzak until 1998. Michael’s hobbies include writing poetry (two have been published so far), creating custom music mixes, sailing and dog agility training with his Terrier pups Quincy and Emmett. He has a fondness for fine wine and good cigars.
