Juan Pablo Restrepo
Juan Pablo Restrepo was born in Bogota, Colombia. His interest in programming began when he found out that people responded well to the music he played at parties, and it was also a good way of compensating for his lack of dancing skills.
He studied Political Science and has made an extensive career in radio and the press, always focusing on music. He is aware that his job is much more fun than that of the rest of the people, despite frequently having to explain what a music programmer does.
He has diverse musical tastes. He is a blues and Afro-Antillean music lover. He has followed the Rock in Spanish scene closely and declares himself to be a staunch fan of Charly García. He is a keen reader and is up to date with everything that is going on in the world’s musical scene: this is the only way he can interpret the public’s tastes to create the right atmosphere with his music selections.
