The Panera Bread Company views sound as an important in-store element to support their brand objectives. They wanted to make sure their guests have a ‘home-away-from home’ feel with soothing and relaxing music. As a destination, Panera wanted to upgrade their sounds systems across all locations to maintain a consistent sound while reflecting the unique vibe of individual neighborhoods.

Our Solution:

In keeping with Panera’s well-articulated brand objectives, DMX’s Music Design team created a specialized aural feel that reflects the sophistication and comfort Panera guests expect and DMX Systems experts complemented the audio with a hands-free, sound-monitoring feature that automatically adjusts volume levels as needed. A set of microphones in the ceiling periodically reads the noise level in the store, and adjusts the volume level accordingly.
